Disposable Lab CoatsThe lab coat is a garment which is worn by people like lab technicians, researchers, scientists and medical workers. One of the purposes of lab coats is that it makes the people that wear them easier to recognize by patients and colleagues, but they also act as barriers of protection for the normal personal clothes which are worn underneath and in case there are chemical spills. The lab coats are available mostly in white, but they also come in other colors, like pink or beige. They have a number of different styles and there are different types on the market. The disposable lab coats are often used, along with lab coats which are cleaned and reused.

The disposable lab coats were designed to be worn once and recycled after that. The level of protection offered by a disposable lab coat is similar to the level offered by a normal lab coat. There are some instances where it’s considered better to throw away the protective garment at the end of the day instead of cleaning it and risking that an infection spreads because of it or that another type of biological threat appears. As far as materials go, disposable lab coats are built either from heavy polypropylene or from SMS polypropylene. In both cases, the fabric breathes well.

The disposable lab coats usually are made from a plastic layer that is very thin and it keeps liquids away from the skin of the wearer, blood being one example of liquid you don’t want to come in contact with your skin if the other person is sick.

The lab coats is extremely useful for people that work in hospitals or in laboratories and in any other environment where you need to protect yourself or your clothes against materials that you work with.
